A True Home

We sold our house at the end of June and moved out in the middle of July. We are in a transition period. There is one major lesson that I have learned thus far: a house is just a house; a home is where your family resides. I am very thankful for my family. No matter where we live we are at home as long as we are together. A house doesn't make you who you are! It is merely a structure that will not last for all eternity. People last for eternity. So as we begin this building process I will continue to remember that we are simply building a place for our family to live. Our "home", the Jackson 5, is already built, and it is continuing to grow daily.

Our Empty Lot!

We are beginning the building process. This is a picture of the lot where we will build our house. I am going to try to post updates so you can keep up with our progress! We are very excited!

The Process Begins!!!

Our future neighbor!!!
The girls are so excited about living next to Neely and Bryce!! Obviously my sweet Perrin got out of the house without a clothes inspection!! She must have gotten her mom's fashion ability!! It actually is a perfect picture of who she is... athletic top with ruffled skirt!! LOVE IT!!!

The dirt has been moved and this is where our new house will be sitting! YAY! This picture (above) looks into the cove..
This picture (above) looks toward the north side...

This one looks to the back of lot... That is Jeannie and Ben's old house in the back ground.
